Non Stop Rome

With summer 2025 behind us, Rome plunges as always into the “cold” season with its incredible wealth of events that distinguishes it. From now until December, major exhibitions and concerts for all tastes are scheduled. If you love historical exhibitions, this year the Scuderie del Quirinale will host a great exhibition on ancient Egypt: The Treasures of the Pharaohs, with over 130 works of art from the land of Cleopatra.

Over 130 works from ancient Egypt, some never exhibited in Italy. A journey into the civilization of the pharaohs through extraordinary artifacts that reveal the mysteries and greatness of one of history’s most fascinating cultures. The exhibition was created through collaboration between prestigious Egyptian and Italian museum institutions.

Picasso: The Language of Ideas

Museo Storico della Fanteria | October 4, 2025 – January 25, 2026

A journey through Pablo Picasso’s expressive versatility, with lithographs, ceramics, drawings and engravings. Six thematic sections tell the story of the artist’s evolution from Spanish realism to Cubism, revealing a multifaceted genius between experimentation and continuous innovation.

Salvador Dalí: Revolution and Tradition

Palazzo Cipolla, Museo del Corso | October 17, 2025 – February 1, 2026

Sixty works by the master of Surrealism from prestigious international collections. A journey into Dalí’s visionary universe, where dream and reality merge in a continuous play of symbolic references between past and future, tradition and artistic revolution.

Paul Gauguin: The Diary of Noa Noa and Other Adventures

Museo Storico della Fanteria | October 4, 2025 – January 25, 2026

Over 160 works tell the story of the artist’s travels to distant lands, the inspirations from his Polynesian stays, and the evolution of his unique style. A colorful and dreamy journey through the emotions and discoveries that inspired some of the most celebrated masterpieces of modern art.

At Castel Sant’Angelo, an event dedicated to Italian cinema will be held: Castel Sant’Angelo | October 15, 2025 – January 18, 2026

A journey through over sixty years of Italian cinema history, from its origins to auteur cinema (1905-1960). The exhibition celebrates the first screening in 1905 at Porta Pia that inaugurated national cinema history, exploring historical films and the evolution of cinematographic art.

For those who don’t want to miss great music, Rome has been able to offer prestigious events for two decades now, thanks to the splendid Auditorium, designed by Renzo Piano in the Flaminio area, easily reachable from Hotel Alpi by Metro A. Until December, concerts and high-level events will be held for both Italian and international music, contemporary music as well as classical music or… Christmas gospels.
